2024 Dates Announced for USDF’s New Instructor/Trainer Development Dressage Seminars

Lexington, KY (February 29, 2024) - The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is thrilled to announce the first 2024 dates of the newly established Dressage Seminars, part of the USDF Instructor/Trainer Development Program. These two-day seminars are open to anyone seeking to gain knowledge, with the first day being geared toward a larger general audience and featuring demonstrating horses and riders and the second day designed for a smaller group and featuring a hands-on educational experience for the participants. Currently there are seminars scheduled in the Northeast (Connecticut) and the Midwest (Nebraska):

Northeast:

  • April 21-22, 2024: Lungeing Seminar with Ann Guptil and Vicki Hammers-O’Neil at Fox Ledge Farm (East Haddam, CT)
  • July 14-15, 2024; Riding Seminar with Bill McMullin and Vicki Hammers-O’Neil at Weatogue Stables, (Salisbury, CT)
  • August 10-11, 2024; Teaching Seminar with Sarah Geikie and Bill McMullin at Sperry View Farm (Bethany, CT)

Midwest (all held at Coda Cavallo Dressage, Omaha, NE):

  • June 29-30, 2024; Riding Seminar with Heidi Chote and Sarah Geikie
  • October 19-20, 2024; Lungeing Seminar with Heidi Chote and Sarah Geikie
  • November 2-3, 2024; Teaching Seminar with Heidi Chote and Sarah Geikie

These newly designed seminars provide a unique educational opportunity and USDF encourages anyone interested in furthering their dressage knowledge to participate, regardless of any aspirations related to becoming a certified instructor/trainer.
